during my studies I loved to experiment with new techniques, smart materials and electronics. I believe that it’ll enrich my work as an industrial designer gaining some knowledge and research in the fields of electronics and new technologies. therefor I tried to "smarten" materials and get some interactive behaviors…
one example is step on. in this project I experimented with self illuminated floor plates which react on the foot pressure as one is stepping on them. I realized this project in cooperation with Rachele Borgato as part of the course „Schlaue Materialien“ (smart materials) at the Bauhaus University, Weimar.
